Time to Level Up! Our Multidisciplinary Junior Kindergarten Program is the final step in our early learning pathway — designed to fully prepare your child for a successful transition into Kindergarten while continuing to support their social, emotional, and physical development.

Building on the strong academic and independence skills developed in Preschool, this “next level” program invites children to deepen their thinking, refine their focus, and confidently seek answers to meaningful questions about the world around them. Our curriculum integrates Montessori, Reggio, Waldorf, and the BC Early Learning Framework, supporting diverse learning styles while nurturing self-sufficiency, confidence, and a lifelong love of learning.

Our bright, engaging classroom is organized into thematic learning stations with high-quality materials that invite sustained inquiry and purposeful work. With Life on Earth as a central focus of exploration, children engage in real science experiments, Reggio-inspired nature projects, and hands-on Montessori materials to expand vocabulary, strengthen reasoning skills, and connect learning to their lived experiences. Monthly thematic studies draw from Cultural Anthropology and Natural Sciences to cultivate global awareness and a sustainable, scientifically grounded worldview. Field trips are chosen to illustrate the classroom learning and deepen the understanding gained.

Academically, we move beyond STEM with our holistic STREAMING curriculum, ensuring that every
intelligence has the opportunity to develop and shine. Weekly experiences include Science, Technology, Reading & Writing, Engineering, Art, Math, Music, Individual Work, Nature Studies, and Group Projects, strengthening creativity, critical thinking, planning, and problem-solving.

Because learning at My Whole Earth is emergent, cumulative, and project-based, we strongly recommend enrolling for the highest number of days your child can attend in good health. Concepts are explored through multi-day individual and group projects that build on previous learning — reinforcing mastery, confidence, and academic readiness.
